Dominique Bernardo, CEO of Variety the Children’s Charity of the Delaware Valley, and Harry Giordano, who is the Director of Business Development, are making a difference in the nonprofit world and in our community. They talk about some of the wonderful things the organization is doing to expand its horizon.
Later, in the show is Chef Diane Nussbaum, owner of Diane’s La Pâtisserie. Diane has won the “Best of Philly” awards for her pastries and cakes. She was also given the honor of recreating Philadelphia’s Bourse Building from sugar for its 100th anniversary. She also created miniature Cézanne sculptures for the opening of the Cézanne exhibit at the Philadelphia Art Museum which has been called nothing but “exquisite.” Diane talks about her humble beginnings and how she got to be one of the most respected chefs in the industry.
